WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO PROTEST?

Protest is a way to express your thoughts, which are commonly against to goverment's rules or against of "modern society".
Stoppage, protest march and graffiti are some ways to protest and show the disagreement about one specific issue. Now, Garffiti is perceived different in every part of the World. In Latin America for instance, Colombia, Brazil, Honduras and Argentina the perspective of its draws is not the same. In Argentina peolple can thought that Graffiti is beautiful, meanwhile Honduras people can reject this kind of protest.
Graffiti has a big impact in society. Nevertheless there are some countries where the meaning of the graffiti is rude and cause a huge impact in every person.
What happen for example in Brazil, where the Graffiti express in a rude way what is comming on with their leaders goverment  and catch the attention on the society. That is why I think in Brazil, Graffiti has a biggest impact than the other countries, such thing it can't be ignore.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING  FOR ERADICATE RACISM?

That will be definitly what Mariana Rondon would say if she know that in Colombia exist racism just like in Venezuela.
It is strange that in the town where Afrocolombians were born, grew and lived, now at days they cannot live worthly because the "modern civilization" exclude them based on their skin colour.
If Mariana Rondon wanted to make a difference through the film "pelo malo" I think that she would ask herself about the solution that each person is making RIGHT NOW to change this social situacion.

Now, in my personal opinion, I think that she is right trying to show what the modern society are doing and to question about the effort of each person...  especially "in that moment of a human being when are being formed and also being wounded"1

Cultural appropriation

What do you think about Bangkok's Gangsters?

The similarities between Bangkok's Gangsters and the definition of cultural appropriation is that even if it is not common in people to make things that are unusual on their culture, people may feel identified through dressing style and  the music that they heard.  For example in this case Thai are comfortable  about wearing mexican's gangters style.

The difference that I can see is that  stereotypes of Thai people make us  think that they are disciplined and because of that it will be easier to identify this subculture. It does not matter  if the clothing is popular  because their style( particulary clothing and music) it is not  common in Thailand.

I think society can not be allow to  limit the others personalities, the way  their dress, the way they do what ever the like to do.  I support this kind of hobbie. I prefer this phenomenon as a hobbie and not as a lifestyle.
